Some mornings I wake up and just don't have the tenacity to step into a pair of heels or squeeze into a pair of tights. I want comfortable pants and flats shoes for a day when I've just got no office style "game." Today, I fell into the comfort trap (although, I do appreciate comfort in clothing so I don't know that trap is the right word). In any case, I chose a casual pair of pants and very comfortable pair of shoes (that might have been slightly too short for the slightly long pants, but no matter). Another day at the office without client interfacing helped me convince myself that something the opposite of fancy-schmancy was good enough for today. And regular readers know just how much I love this combination of mustard pieces; they get frequent attention in my rotation! (here and here for starters)
